ROSSAY

is a timeless memory of the region, but the sumptuous Renaissance gallery, the engraved tomb and the God’s hut all bear witness to past fervour.
The Château du Bois Rogues (private site), built in the mid-14th century, was set in a hundred hectares of parkland. A secluded chapel and the foliage of a vast park denote the importance of the estate. Between the farmhouse and a nineteenth-century manor house stands this elegant gallery, the only vestige of a complex that no longer exists.
