Situated on an ancient Gallo-Roman site, this mill was built in the early 12th century in the commune of Beuxes. Just 500 metres away, the Maumont spring fed the mill, which originally had 2 wheels measuring 2.40 metres in diameter. It ceased all milling activity in 1919.
Thanks to his energy and passion, the current owner, representing the 5th generation, is restoring this architecture to the character of its beginnings. The first bucket wheel has just been installed, restoring the mill to its former glory.
