Château de la Roche-Martel
ROIFFEThis 15th-century castle, remodelled in the 17th and 19th centuries, stands on a rocky promontory overlooking the Loudun plain in the commune of Roiffé. The main building and its wooden courtyard, a medieval gatehouse between two towers and the ruins of the castral chapel near the old fortifications are still preserved today.
The castle has been restored in the 17th and 19th centuries.
